@RitchieSzn_34 @TMLJaysNiners @Azekial1168 7 years is the new max term! From what I’ve seen 7x9.5 was his ask from Detroit with trade protection

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@MatthenOG @BuenosJoeches92 @davidalter Is that genuinely what you took from what he said??

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@habspirations @MikeBartner @ColeDietrich6 7th and 11th overall are lottery picks?

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Jon_Pardy @PuckDontLie We saw knies on his own line he simply doesn’t have the tools to be a play driver, fantastic complimentary winger but the upside of having an elite play driver with this top 6 group plus the added speed makes them better

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Sandsy02 @LeafsUpdates21 What the op put in the tweet is the cap hit with retention

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@GraysonKen41 @6Leafs89 @thatssoleafy77 @LeafsUpdates21 There’s 0 chance he’s recovering from shoulder surgery in 3 months, there’s a chance he’s back in February but I doubt that will be the case. He was a throw in to make the cap work with Columbus

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Jpat1952 @mo2rose @BlueJays @MiLB @MLBPipeline @BuffaloBisons @FisherCats @DunedinBlueJays @vancanadians You wanted to the backup catcher to play more than a top 3 catcher in the sport? Would also love to see this interview you’re quoting

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Hershel_Lives @PierreVLeBrun He’s 2 years older and Columbus needed to shed salary to make the trade work

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@KevWob @_JordanDecker Marchenko is one of the fastest players in the league with the ability to be a play driver and has a much better shot, Knies is a complimentary winger who doesn’t drive play on his own but will go to the net and throw his weight around but not how yours expect

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@boston6913 @_JordanDecker @laelhine He skates a bit better? Knies skates like he has cinder blocks in his feet Marchenko is a top 10 skater speed wise in the league, the leafs spent the entire offseason getting guys to do that while not having any play drivers which Marchenko is

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@HabsWagon @OhNyquist @Lynxzxxz Not a single thing you said is true lmao

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@drunklibshill @bigheadhcky That’s cool but that doesn’t change Marchenko being an immediate upgrade for Toronto

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Bru8163 @FriedgeHNIC Elvis and domi will be on LTIR plus I imagine something gets done with Joshua now

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@BleedOilBlue @SpoofyBTC @FriedgeHNIC And atm marchenko is a better player

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@Stevesteele23 @ProducerDrew_ @MarkBrennacam2 No one’s saying anything about terrifying and making the d shake lmao, it’s a fact that attacking defenders with speed puts them on the back foot leading to holes opening up

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@RandyRE @EricEngels @JeffVeillette They aren’t remotely the same players lmao

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@krisufin93 @tj96111030 @COWABRINI @FirstUp1050 @Aaron_Korolnek Maurice is an outlier and that’s a compliment to him and what the panthers managed to build over the last 5 years

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@krisufin93 @tj96111030 @COWABRINI @FirstUp1050 @Aaron_Korolnek The one singular coach whose team was top 3 in possession metrics since he was hired in spite of playing dump and chase. None of Berubes teams have ever been close to doing that and instead rely on goaltending to win every game.

[Guernz @GU3RNS]

@krisufin93 @tj96111030 @COWABRINI @FirstUp1050 @Aaron_Korolnek I’m very confused why you made this a Matthews vs Barkov conversation, they aren’t the same type of player. Barkovs a great player no one’s arguing that
