What is my business & why do I have it? After years of wrestling with this, I may have clarity:
1. To steward the gifts God gave me through coaching
2. To generate income to help support God's people – my family & tithing
3. To use the gym as a platform to point people toward God
JUST IN: The full Florida legislature is about to vote on PASSING Gov. Ron DeSantis' abolishment of property taxes for most primary homeowners
The homestead exemption is SWIFTLY raised to $250,000 and scheduled for full termination 🔥
DeSantis says Florida has so many funds they can create a STATE TRUST FUND for police, fire, etc. at the local level
Other states are also looking at property tax relief

Why should business owners make more money than their employees?
A friend of mine pointed something blatantly obvious to me that I honestly never considered.
As a (Small) business owner, I sometimes feel guilty that I make more money than my employees. My friend told me that I deserve it because I take on risk. And I've heard that before but it actually never resonated with me until he put it this way.
"It takes balls to do what you did. They don't have the balls to start something up like you did."
"You put down the money to start it, jumped through the hoops, and pulled the f***ing trigger when 99% of people don't have the balls to do it."
When my landlord was looking for new tenants in our building i was helping him filter people out. And he made a comment that also works here about one possible tenant that I was pretty high on.
"Some people like the idea of starting a business. They will do all the due diligence, all the bs, but when it's time to pull the trigger, they just delay delay delay."
And that's just it. They don't have the balls. I got rewarded for having the balls to pull the trigger on taking risk. Most of us are terrified to do that. For whatever reason I wasn't. And because of that, I get rewarded.
If one trainer gets sued, I get sued, if a trainer makes less money, I make less money, if a trainer leaves, i'm still stuck with the bills, when they leave the gym they can go home and think about nothing and I still have to think about everything. It takes balls to invest all your money and headspace into a project. And the truth is, most people aren't willing to do it - which is totally fine. And I recommend that to most people. It takes a certain personality to be able to deal with that, and that's why there are more employees than business owners. It's not for everyone.
Here's a big problem - Bill suggests an observation he and others have had. And before the guest hears him out, she mocks the observation. Meh, we can do better.
Bill Maher reveals what CEOs are privately concerned about with employees on Ozempic.
MAHER: “I’ve been hearing this on the low for a while.”
KARA SWISHER: "On the low. From who?"
MAHER: “I’ll tell you after the show. Somebody [in Big Tech] you would know... He’s been hearing, and in his company also, they don’t like their employees on this stuff because—”
KARA SWISHER: “Oh, they don’t work hard enough for the man?”
MAHER: “They don’t. It takes away your craving for food and maybe substance abuse...”
“...Also kind of for success, and sometimes for living and for being motivated. They get kind of logie.”🧵
@jeffcharlesjr Bruh now we are pointing fingers? Why? Attempting to save face? Move on. They all lie. Just know, one party isnt any more net positive or net negative from the other. Just different priorities. Both still are net negative.
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.”

Don't Cue "look down" during the start for team sport athletes - especially football. It's insane. If you get them in that habit, they will get murdered on the field.
