JSE LANDS HISTORIC GLOBAL LISTING
CANAL+ has made history by becoming the first French company to list on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
The secondary listing strengthens ties between African and European capital markets and gives South African investors direct access to a global media and entertainment business.
CANAL+ operates in more than 70 countries and serves over 42 million subscribers worldwide, including 23 million across Africa.
The company views Africa as a major growth market, driven by rising connectivity and a young population.
