In case you don't know, here are some of the Efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

1. The minimum wage has been raised to ₦70,000

2.Local Governments now have autonomy

3.Fuel importation reduced by 51.4%.

4.The Federal Government facilitated a Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, to secure daily direct flights to London, which crashed ticket prices on that route.

5.The Nigerian government facilitated with Meta to enable Nigerian content creators to monetise their content on Facebook beginning in June 2024.

6.Ended passport scarcity and waiting time for passport application, renewal and collection shorted to less than two weeks and contactless biometric is about to kickstart with Data Control and Command Centre is completed.

7.2023 Electricity Bill signed into Law to end federal monopoly in the power sector and empower states and the private sector to generate, distribute and transmit power.

8.The Federal Government has initiated and begun payment of the ₦50,000 Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme to nano businesses.

9.The Federal Government has initiated and begun payment of student loans.

10. President Tinubu approved 10 billion naira for CNG buses in all 36 states: Bringing CNG conversion centers closer to you step by step; Over 200 centers are expected to be built over the next few months as the Presidential CNG Initiative ramps up its adoption model.

11. Nigeria’s External Reserves hit 17-month high, gain $2.35 billion in 18 days.

12.The Federal Government has reimbursed 34 states and the FCT through the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus(NG-CARES) Programme.
The NG-Cares is a program developed to expand access to livelihood support and food security services for poor households and firms across Nigerian states.

13. About N110 billion fund dedicated to empowering youth in priority sectors to drive economic growth.

One of the dangers of Monopoly in the market is, Millions of Citizens will depend on one to enjoy goods and services, which is catastrophic.

The man will even be bigger than the Government.

When witnessed such under GEJ, when Ifeany Ubah was the sole importer of petroleum products into Nigeria, that was the era when you will woke up one morning to meet fuel queues everywhere at filling Stations.

Ifeanyi Ubah will lock up his Farm Tank at Apapa and disappear, then Millions of Nigerians will be groaning under the sun because of fuel.

People were suffering, and fuel will hiked during Christmas because of one man, that’s the danger of Monopoly.

Allowing Dangote Refinery to function alone in a Country with the population of over 250M people is counterproductive, let us leave emotions and face reality, it is me and you that will suffer it, and PBAT is fighting against it. He need our support to break that jinx.

What Dangote is saying is that our Refineries shouldn’t work and bring products into the market, he now using the establishment of Steel Industry to blackmail FG.

Nigerians must desist from attaching emotions on this matter.

Dangote Refinery cost allot of money to build but he is not to recoup his money in 1yr, and Nigerians must not die because of his quest for ROI.

Let NNPC and Dangote Refinery function synonymously because it will help crash the price of Petroleum in Nigeria, there should be healthy competition in Nigeria.

It happened in the early years of the GSM revolution in Nigeria where MTN was sabotaging other GSM providers because they had the customers, equipment and the funds to expand their network.

When Government licenses other players like Glo and Econet, MTN Sim cards price crashed.

So FG must also apply strategy to crash petroleum prices, by killing Monopoly and allow others come in.
