DEJA DE PREGUNTAR A TUS PADRES MAYORES «¿TODO BIEN?».
TE DIRÁN «SÍ» CASI SIEMPRE.
PARA SABER CÓMO ESTÁN DE VERDAD, CAMBIA ESA PREGUNTA POR UNA DE ESTAS 12:
At 83, most people expected Elena Erkhova to stay close to home.
Instead, the Siberian grandmother finally decided to chase a dream she had carried for decades.
Living on a small pension in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, she saved every spare ruble she could. She grew and sold flowers, knitted handmade clothes and lived simply so she could afford a plane ticket to somewhere she had never seen before.
She travelled alone with a small backpack, not because it was easy, but because she had waited long enough. Over the next eight years, Elena visited around 20 countries, walking through streets she had only imagined for most of her life. She rode boats, camels and motorcycles, met strangers who became friends and discovered that the world was far kinder than she had expected.
Her adventures remained largely unknown until another traveller met her in Vietnam in 2016 and shared her story online. Soon, millions of people around the world knew her as Baba Lena, the grandmother who proved that curiosity doesn't grow old.
Elena continued travelling until she was 91. She passed away in 2019, leaving behind something far greater than photographs from distant places.
After spending most of her life waiting for the right moment, she filled her final years with the journey she had never stopped believing was possible.
Hoy.
BEFORE YOU JUDGE YOUR MOTHER... READ THIS
It's easy to remember the moments she got wrong. The times she was strict. The times she didn't understand you. The times she made mistakes.
But before she was your mother, she was simply a person trying to figure out life herself.
She had fears. Insecurities. Bad days. Unhealed wounds. Dreams that didn't go as planned. Responsibilities she wasn't always prepared for.
Then one day, she became responsible for another human being.
You.
She didn't receive a manual on how to be the perfect mother. She learned through trial and error, through love and sacrifice, through sleepless nights and constant worry.
Some of her struggles you never saw.
Some of her tears were hidden.
Some of her sacrifices happened so quietly that nobody noticed them.
She worried about your future.
She carried stress she never spoke about.
She often put your needs ahead of her own.
And even when she got things wrong, chances are she was doing the best she could with the knowledge, strength, and circumstances she had at that time.
Was she perfect?
No.
No parent is.
But perfection was never the goal.
Love was.
As you grow older, something surprising happens.
You begin to understand how difficult life really is.
You begin to see the weight of responsibilities.
The pressure.
The sacrifices.
The exhaustion.
And suddenly, you start seeing your mother not as a parent...
but as a human being.
A human being who was learning, struggling, growing, and surviving while trying to raise you.
So before you judge her too harshly, remember this:
One day, you'll wish you could hear her voice again.
One more story.
One more piece of advice.
One more hug.
Love her while you can.
Be patient with her.
Spend time with her.
Because one day, the things that annoy you now may become the things you miss the most.

A quiet revolution is happening in cancer treatment. 😀
Using live MRI imaging, doctors can now see tumors in exquisite detail while a patient lies comfortably in the scanner. Once the cancer is precisely mapped, they slide a needle thin probe straight into the heart of the tumor, often through just a tiny nick in the skin.
Then, in seconds, super-cold argon gas floods the probe tip, dropping the temperature inside the tumor to –100 °C or lower. An “ice ball” forms & engulfs the cancer, shattering malignant cells while healthy tissue just millimeters away stays unharmed. The entire process is watched in real time on the MRI screen, giving doctors millimeter perfect control.
No big incisions. No general anesthesia in most cases & many patients walk out the same day & are back to normal life within days instead of weeks.
This technique (MRI-guided cryoablation) is already saving kidneys, sparing men from the side effects of whole gland prostate treatment, shrinking liver tumors & helping patients who were previously told “surgery isn’t an option.”
Centers like Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering & MD Anderson are expanding its use every year, with success rates now rivaling surgery for many small to medium tumors & complication rates often lower.
For the right patients, freezing #cancer to death under MRI guidance isn’t science fiction anymore; it’s becoming the new standard of care. ❤️
They saw a 77 year old woman standing alone at an ATM in Bromborough, England, and thought they had found an easy victim.
Winifred Peel was withdrawing money when three teenagers moved in to rob her. One pushed her aside while another tried to take cash from the machine. They expected fear. Instead, they got resistance.
Winifred grabbed one of the attackers, 19 year old Felix Stoica, by the collar and slammed his head against the ATM three times. The injuries he suffered, along with CCTV footage, later helped police identify the gang.
Within days, all three suspects were arrested. Felix Stoica, Florin Geblescu and Piper Dumitru eventually admitted their roles in the robbery and were sentenced to prison.
Afterward, Winifred revealed she regularly went to the gym and believed that staying active had helped her defend herself. The attack shook her confidence, but she refused to let the men take her money without a fight.
The three teenagers believed age made her an easy target.
They walked away discovering that courage is something no one can measure by the number of birthdays a person has lived.
Jordan Peterson explains how your life is the sum of what you repeat every day.
people think cleaning their room is trivial. it isn’t.
set your room up so that when you walk into it, it tells you to be better than you generally are. everything has its place. everything points you in the right direction.
when you start improving one small part of your life, don’t be surprised if people around you resist it. sometimes they’ll ask, ‘who do you think you are?’ simply trying to become better can expose everyone else’s excuses.
maybe all you have is a small room in a rundown place. fix it anyway. there’s more potential there than you think.
you’ll discipline yourself by fixing the room. then you’ll have a better room and you’ll be a better person.
the things people dismiss as ‘mundane’ are actually the biggest part of their lives.
your life isn’t vacations or highlights. your life is how you greet your family every day. it’s breakfast together. it’s how you end the day. it’s the habits you repeat thousands of times.
get those ordinary things right and you’ve already put most of your life together.
these little things aren’t little. they create a ripple effect that changes far more than people imagine.
🚨 A hacker group announced at 3:00 AM: "We have locked all Starlink ground stations worldwide. Pay $500 million in Bitcoin, or the world goes offline!"
🚀 Elon Musk replied at 3:01 AM: "Check your firmware. While you were writing that ransom note, Neural-Auto-Patch released a micro-update that routed your entire operation through a dead-end satellite in deep orbit. Thanks for testing our hotfix."
A potem życie zrobiło swoje i dziś żyjemy w dwóch różnych światach.
Ona: dzieci, szkoła, dydaktyka, nauka, góry, natura, koty, dramaty.
Ja: firmy, fundusze, inwestycje, biznes, miasto, beton, psy, komedie.
Ona: kreatywna, empatyczna, marzycielska.
No to ogłaszam...
To dekoracja.
Więc jeśli twoja druga połówka to twoje przeciwieństwo, przestań to naprawiać. Może właśnie tam mieszka wasz sekret.
Nie musicie kochać tych samych rzeczy.
Wystarczą te same wartości, ten sam kierunek, szacunek do różnic i troska o drugą połowę większa niż o siebie.
Mimo to każdego dnia wybierała to samo... mnie.

On a Friday night in Red Bank, New Jersey, a man in a thousand-dollar suit and his wife sit down at a small wooden table near the window.
They have driven down from Manhattan for dinner. They have heard about this place from a friend.
A few feet away, a thin man in his sixties slips off his coat.
He has been homeless for more than a year. A caseworker told him there was a restaurant where he could earn a hot meal by washing dishes afterward.
Across the room, two Rutgers University-Newark students study the menu.
They have just ten dollars between them. Like many students on their campus, they live with food insecurity.
The waiter arrives.
There are no prices.
The wealthy couple is told the suggested donation is thirty dollars, with the option to cover someone else's meal.
The homeless man is offered another choice.
Donate if he can. Volunteer if he cannot. Either way, he will eat the same dinner, and no one will ever know which path he chose.
The students hear the very same words.
Every table orders the same meal.
Spring artichoke bisque. Soul-seasoned grilled chicken over angel hair pasta. House-made dessert. Coffee.
Every plate looks identical.
The ingredients are organic. The chef trained at the Culinary Institute. The service never changes.
By the end of dinner, nobody knows who paid, who volunteered, or who arrived with almost nothing.
That is the point.
The restaurant is JBJ Soul Kitchen.
Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, opened it in October 2011 after she was inspired by a pay-what-you-can café during the financial crisis.
She believed dignity should come before charity.
So every guest would be treated exactly the same.
The idea worked.
Within months, the restaurant was full every night. It later became one of New Jersey's highest-rated restaurants while quietly helping thousands of people eat with dignity instead of shame.
The mission kept growing.
New locations opened. Affordable housing was built. Shelters, scholarships, and community partnerships followed. By March 2025, more than 200,000 meals had been served.
Jon Bon Jovi still shows up.
Sometimes he clears tables. Sometimes he talks with volunteers. Sometimes he simply sits down and eats beside everyone else.
There are no autograph lines.
Inside these walls, every person is just another guest.
The homeless man leaves with his dignity.
The couple from Manhattan leaves knowing they fed another table.
The students head home with full stomachs and the last ten dollars still in their pockets.
For one ordinary evening, they were all treated exactly the same.
That is the legacy still being served—one meal, one table, and one act of dignity at a time.
Today, democracy and the rule of law are being dismantled in Hungary in the pursuit of unchecked power. This is nothing short of criminal conduct.
Using retroactive, tailor-made legislation, the government has barred half of the opposition, including its strongest leaders, from politics. This marks the end of democracy. If it is not the people who decide who they vote for, but those in power who decide who the people are allowed to vote for, then democracy is finished.
Through a retroactive, tailor-made constitutional amendment, they removed the President of the Republic, dismissed the President of the Constitutional Court, and forced out the Chief Prosecutor. With that, they have dismantled the rule of law as well.
U.S. Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. A federal judge ordered the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the unredacted documents. The DOJ has refused to hand over Epstein files after a judge's order. The deadline was July 2, 2026.
As someone works in human rights, I’ve never seen anything like the Epstein files in my 15-year career. There are 3 million files of documented evidence about powerful men who
Raped
Cannibalized
Trafficked
Filmed
Terrorized
Tortured
Murdered
13, 14, 15 year children!
Remember: this is a minority of the files. This's just what they were willing to release.
Not a single arrest or investigation. ZERO.
We called on the U.S. Department of Justice to hand over the full Epstein files to the UN Special Rapporteurs and UN independent committees for investigations, as this is an international case of crimes against humanity. But the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN's top human rights official didn't even care to open an investigation or listen to our call for the DoJ, nor utter a single word regarding the largest human trafficking network in modern history.
Epstein pedophiles are investigating Epstein files. We wonder why nobody arrested. Jeffery Epstein has every major politicians and billionaires on video doing something terrible to a child or to multiple people.
THOUSANDS have been arrested for criticizing Zionism. THOUSANDS have been arrested for social media posts. ZERO have been arrested for raping children.
The Epstein files is never really about just a "list." It is about children raped by powerful men, and a system that let them get away with it.
The bottom line here is the world system has become so corrupt that the time has come I think to clean the crap out of the stables and start over.
The Epstein files is about protecting children. There's no greater cause. If people can't unite over children being raped and abused there's no hope for humanity.
I don't understand how we're not having a global revolution right now.
