@RenfroeMason @golgariguy If my plan is summon things and attack, but I have to think about how I use my mana to manage what I play vs what I get through instead of playing w/e card I want it does exactly that. You aren't listening to, and applying what I am saying to this context because you disagree.
@RenfroeMason @golgariguy They force you to play a game in conversation with your opponent and listen to and play around the board as it changes and evolves the rules of play. If I wanted to play a game by myself where I didn't have to think about what my opponent was doing, I'd play Yu-Gi-Oh π
@RenfroeMason @golgariguy Against because they require me to actively think about, change, and adapt my play. I can't just mash my way through the game playing solitaire with my deck. They present an active, unique, challenge to overcome each game, which makes it one of the most fun decks to play against.
@RenfroeMason @golgariguy I'm glad you're not designing the game. Not having cards that can disrupt your opponents gameplay/plans sounds like a boring experience. They offer plenty unique and fun gameplay, and that's why it's a design space they incredibly talented designers of this game utilize.
@RenfroeMason @golgariguy I have never seen a take that so adequately proves the posters point like this. LOL these are REALLY mild pillow fort effects....they are in no way broken at all and definitely don't fall in the "should never have been printed" category.
@danaroach@ghirapurigears I think green being a land is kind of the obvious choice/design here...Red is a bit trickier. I think an interesting design space would be a card from exile rather than something from graveyard to lean into the impulse of red.
@Cchurchili "Okay we need something like 'this' but like that really captures the essence of sex"
Coworker walks in "Why does it look like them office chairs are fucking?"
"Nevermind, we'll just use this."
@CrazyMadNoob@AOC Also, the price of progress is always going to mean a previous group of people had it rougher. That's how we identify the problem and progress forward so others don't suffer the same way.
@CrazyMadNoob@AOC Why should their feelings getting hurt stop us from enacting beneficial legislation that will enrich the lives of our citizens and strengthen our economy?
@POTUS My guy...people are deciding between putting food on the table and paying rent....medical care has been off the table for a ton of Americans for a hot minute.
@arabidsquid@atomicthumbs OSC using TCP also supports SLIP encoding! If your serial interface has a SLIP encoder it might be an easy way to go about it! There's a handful of repositories using SLIP to get OSC communicating with Arduino's over serial! Might be a good place to start!
@laurenboebert Imagine the 2/3rds of the state that have to live with your radical hatred influencing all of our daily lives. It's undescribably frustrating that you have any influence over my life. You barely speak for anyone in this state, yet you have just as much power, and half the skills.
@laurenboebert God, all your posts are so vapid and generic. You don't even attempt to fram an argument. It's just empty nonsense with no really point or subject using keywords you know radicals will engage with. Can you get out of office and do something productive with your life already?
@MinusPeach We're literally a desert that the some rocks make it snow in half the year. We are no better than Arizona, we just get some shade from our big ass dune so we pretend we are better.
