I concluded my four-day working visit to the UAE this morning, during which I visited His Highness Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member of the UAE and the Ruler of Sharjah, at his palace. We discussed cooperation in various sectors.

I would particularly like to thank His Highness for undertaking the project to construct an international airport near Kidepo Valley National Park, which is expected to significantly boost our tourism. I also thank the brotherly country of the UAE for its warm hospitality.

The Federal Government of #Somalia has granted official recognition to SSC-Khaatumo State of Somalia as the 7th Federal Member State, conveying a strong message that Somalia remains united and cannot be divided by any foreign entity. This marks the conclusion of 32 years of secessionist Somaliland's efforts to control the narrative in the northern part of Somalia.

Celebrating victory, SSC-Khaatumo soldiers prevail following 16 years of secessionist Somaliland distractions. Ignoring warnings, Somaliland exploited Somalia's post-war recovery for their separatist aims. Dhulbahnate opposes secession, expelling Somaliland from Sool region. SSC-Khatumo unites against secession's shadow. Somaliland's case lacks legal basis, relying on colonial history. Others can't be dragged along. Clans in former British Somaliland were similar. Foreign occupation doesn't grant a clan the right to secede. Today, SSC-Khatumo's win cements unity.

I swear, this stirred up my emotions once more, leaving me both emotional and infuriated. A secessionist soldier from Somaliland's militia, who was apprehended on Goojcade, expressed on live TV, 'I am of Somali origin, and I have committed an mistake. Could you please release me?' as tears streamed down his face. This is the result of the secessionist Mafia leaders benefiting from the sacrifice of their own sons. One of our exceptionally trained SSC-Khaatumo soldiers patted his shoulder and assured him, 'No one will harm you.'

Kenya’s Foreign Minister Alfred Mutua tells a gathering of the African Union about how easy it is for a European to visit Africa and how hard it is for an African to visit Europe. He also reiterated how it is extremely difficult for Africans to travel between each other. It is about tedious visa restrictions in the continent is fully addressed. Kenya wants to lead the way in opening her doors to Africans.
