Simpsons Tavern in the City of London is being closed by its landowners. Since 1757, it's survived fires, plagues, industrial revolution and war. Some claim it the location for #Scrooge's tavern in Dickens' #ChristmasCarol. The City Guides @colguides are campaigning to save it.
