@nweasel @djclancy999 @Twitch But that just proves my point more. If you have to take the audio out in OBS, you’re not licensed to use it anyway and broke current TOS when you played it live. Between paying record labels a few cents or getting DMCA’d constantly, I’d prefer to just pay up, personally.

@nweasel @djclancy999 @Twitch Right now we’re all in breach of Twitch’s current TOS is we play licensed music, I believe. So they’re creating programs to make it where DJs can play music without worry and that way they can promote them more. Currently they can’t.

@nweasel @djclancy999 @Twitch They said on the survey not to share what was included, but they’re not doing themselves any favors with their PR so I’m happy to share. It sounded to me like Twitch is going to take care of the music licensing, and then DJs can opt in to use that music on their streams.
