King Crimson released their debut album, “In the Court of the Crimson King” on this day in 1969. It took me awhile to embrace this album, but there’s no doubt in my mind that this is a prog-rock masterpiece. My favourite tracks are “Epitaph” and “I Talk to the Wind”.

La storica formazione della band era

il grande Greg Lake al basso e voce,
Michael Giles alla batteria/percussioni
e voce, con il fondamentale contributo
di Peter Sinfield, celebre paroliere
britannico, ai testi.
