As a nation, we MUST do better. Our children deserve our best, yet the Department of Children and Family Services (and child welfare systems across the country) continues to fail far too many by not prioritizing truly SAFE, loving homes. Placements that harm instead of heal? Unacceptable.

We need real reform: better screening, faster interventions, more accountability, and genuine support for families.
