Last saturday, I released my first game on @itchio.
It's about geometric mandala creation : half puzzle-game/half sandbox.
I've been working on it for the past two years and it's been a great journey ! You can check it out at https://t.co/YBBtIIUipg… #madewithgodot#indiedev
I had my first playtest yesterday with my brother :
After an initial crash due to a bad exportation, his ears were blasted by the music I setted too loud. Then he proceeded to not understand how the game was supposed to be played...
...and then he had a lot of fun 😄!!

@EracuStudios Fair play ! It's inspiring to see other devs who are further ahead on their road. It motivates me to keep improving even when success is not (yet) there...
I hope your journey continues to bring you joy, discoveries and growth 😀
@UnityCodeMonkey I've been using your video as a guideline for the past month. It has helped me understand a lot of problems I was encountering and eased many of my choices when implementing new features.
Thanks for your work !
@nocrash_ That's what I'm aiming for my 1st demo.
I'm afraid players will be frustrated by the lack of content but I need to know if the game loop has some potential or not...
When I find a good spot to rest in the forest, I often daydream about recreating trees, clouds and other natural elements in code. It must feel godlike...
Can't wait to test what they've managed to do !
The title screen is now fully functionnal !
I always underestimate the time needed to make an UI that feels like you're playing a "real" game.
But I want people to test my game so it better feel "real" !
🎵Can't stop listening to the title song btw

Thanatokalist now have a title screen and a start menu.
I didn't really needed it before but I want people to be able to test it soon so I made a little something to welcome them.
Also, check out my brand new logo 😎!

@monolitogame Haha, thanks !
Your game is very stylish, it looks cosy and peaceful, I hope you'll manage to finish it. It's a tricky thing to have both an ambitious project yet with a manageable scope. Good luck !
@monolitogame I completely agree with you. It is the little details that allows the player to immerse himself, get lost in the game and not see it as just a piece of code. And it's so fun to experience it with your own game, when you forget you've coded it.
