@JJJuraid President Cirro fearlessly exposes double standards and champions Somaliland's interests with unwavering courage. a political lion roaring loud!
While retail fuel has dropped 78 cents a gallon over the past month and wholesale indices are down over $1.50, trucking spot rates are defying expectations and hitting all-time highs.
Because wholesale fuel reacts much faster to mercantile exchanges than local truck stops, a unique operational spread has opened up—granting agile carriers a highly profitable cash flow window as dynamic line rates separate from standard operating costs.
The Port of Brownsville just got a $295 million upgrade.
On What The Truck?!?, Malcolm & The Dude discuss why the deeper ship channel means larger vessels, more LNG exports, increased steel imports, and stronger trade opportunities with Mexico.
Agreed. Hormuz disruptions highlight the value of route diversification. Berbera's Gulf of Aden location keeps it unaffected, while DP World upgrades, the new Jebel Ali route, and Free Zone growth boost its appeal as a resilient option for regional cargo. Gradual indirect benefits make sense, solid take.
AI in trucking isn't coming, it's already here and accelerating fast. The industry that ignores this pace of change won't just fall behind, it'll disappear. Stay sharp and stay in the loop. #AITrucking#Logistics#OwnerOperators
Gabe Ribeiro shares his journey from slamming 10 energy drinks a day as a carrier rep at Coyote Logistics in 2011 to helping launch HeyBubba! AI.
Traditional logistics technology has long ignored the localized administrative struggles of owner-operators, who typically rely on "kitchen dispatch" systems run by spouses or family members.
Shifting toward an intuitive, conversational voice assistant removes the friction of hands-on paperwork, allowing solo operators to capture high-margin spot loads before they disappear from the board.
@MohamedBarawani Congratulations on your book “Somaliland State Building”, Ambassador! Thank you for all your hard work. Looking forward to reading it soon.
Can't wait to get my hands on Dr. Mohamed Barawani’s “Somaliland State Building”! Looking forward to the insights on women’s political participation and Somaliland’s path forward. Essential reading on democracy, clan, and Islam. 📖 #Somaliland#Democracy#bookLaunch
It was my great pleasure and honor to attend the second debate about my book ‘Somaliland state building’ hosted by CDG here in Hargeysa. We focused on and discussed two chapters of the book: chapter about women political participation and chapter about Somaliland a way forward.
🚛 Pro Dispatch Tip: Always confirm the full route + any accessorials BEFORE the truck rolls.
Surprise detention or lumper fees kill profit.
Clear communication upfront saves headaches later.
Simple but overlooked.

Biggest issue right now: Double brokering and fake carriers are surging.
Verify EVERY load, use tools for real-time identity checks at pickup/delivery.
But the best defense? Long-term vetted partners.
What fraud tactics are you seeing most this month?
#Trucking#Logistics#Monday
🚛Carriers: Your all-in cost per mile is the only number that matters.
Fuel + maintenance + insurance + driver pay + deadhead = reality.
A $2.90 load might lose money if your true cost is $3.10.
Always run the numbers before accepting.
What's your current break-even? #Trucking
🚛 Carriers: Stop treating all brokers the same.
Build real relationships with the few who pay fast, communicate well, and respect detention.
One solid broker beats chasing 30 random loads.

@KAYAAN_AI Thanks! Fraud has been the biggest issue lately, double brokering and fake carriers especially.
Strong verification is essential, but consistent relationships with vetted partners are still the most effective defense.
What are you seeing the most?
@AlinurMohamed_ Somalis contribute in business, fair point. But claiming Kenya owes you or that you'd collapse the economy in a day is entitlement. Kenya is built by all Kenyans.
If vetting is unfair, take it up with the government properly. Equal rules for all.
