His analysis reinforces what many in Sindh already know—the Indus is shrinking, the delta is dying, and authorities are ignoring the crisis.

🚱 Sindh is already suffering from severe water shortages, yet massive canal projects continue, diverting resources away from communities that rely on the Indus for survival. The Sutlej River is an unreliable source, allocated to India under the Indus Waters Treaty—how can a project built on uncertainty be justified?

💡 The real solution? As Mr. Memon rightly argues, Pakistan should prioritize better water management and modernize farming practices on already cultivated lands rather than pushing controversial and unsustainable projects.

بجلی کے بلوں کے لیے جاری تحریک میں بالکل واضح طور پر صرف چار مطالبات رکھیں:

1️⃣پہلا یہ کہ کسی بھی سرکاری ادارے یا کسی بھی سرکاری شخصیت کو فری بجلی کسی بھی صورت میں نہ ملے، چاہے وہ کوئی بھی ہو۔ تنخواہ جو بھی بڑھانی ہے بڑھائیں لیکن بجلی کا بل سب کو دینا پڑے۔

2️⃣دوسرا اور سب سے اہم مطالبہ یہ کہ بجلی کے بل میں سوائے بجلی کی قیمت کے کوئی بھی ٹیکس شامل نہ ہو۔ دنیا جہان کے فضول ٹیکسز بجلی کے بل میں شامل کیے ہوئے ہیں جس کی وجہ سے بجلی کی قیمت سے کہیں زیادہ ٹٰیکس لگے ہوئے ہیں۔ انھیں فی الفور ختم کیا جائے۔

3️⃣تیسرا مطالبہ یہ کہ بجلی کے یونٹ کی قیمت بس اسی بل میں وصول کی جائے۔ فیول ایڈجسمنٹ کے نام پر اگلے مہینوں میں پھر سے ظلم نہ کیا جائے۔

4️⃣��وتھا مطالبہ یہ کہ میٹر ریڈنگ والی ایپ کو بل کے ساتھ ڈائریکٹ کونیکٹ کیا جائے اور جس وقت اور تاریخ کی ریڈنگ کی تصویر ہو وہی بل پر بھی آئے۔ جان بوجھ کر لیٹ کرنے کی اجازت نہ دی جائے تاکہ ایک دو یونٹ اوپر کر کے بل بڑھانے والا ظلم نہ ہو سکے۔
