What happened in Dover looked very different to me than the way some are trying to portray it.

These men weren’t armed. They didn’t claim police powers. They didn’t attack anybody. They assembled peacefully, made their point, warned their community about what they believe is happening at our borders, and then they left.

Yes, they caused disruption.

That’s what protest has always done.

If peaceful Englishmen can’t stand together in their own streets, raise the alarm about uncontrolled migration and demand that their borders are taken seriously, then what exactly is the right of assembly worth?

You don’t have to like the masks.
You don’t have to agree with every word.
But peaceful assembly, public warning and political protest aren’t extremism.

They’re the actions of citizens who believe their country is being failed and who refuse to stay silent.
