Really disappointed in @m8arteta, @Arsenal & all of the higher ups regarding the Thomas Partey situation.

I understand that he’s under contract & the charges have only just been made that he’s now out of contract but these charges date back to 2021/22, which means that we had the option to terminate his contract years ago.

We didn’t, instead we played him every week with the boos getting louder and more common every week too.

Meanwhile glorifying a rapist, allowed to be one of the top earners at the club for years until we decided to sign & a replacement and let him go.

Women’s safety & welfare should’ve been the priority & as soon as the information was known to the club, he should’ve been handed over with his contract terminated.

Why have the No More Red & the Kick Out Racism campaigns at the club, when a rapist is one of your highest paid players?

There will need to be some answers given on this, by both the club & by Mikel, who I feel cannot hide behind PR & needs to be honest with fans to allow them to trust him.

A disappointing day indeed.
Tarnished the clubs image for sure, at least for the near future.
