A delegation of ABVP Punjab met the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria and submitted a memorandum highlighting the urgent concerns of agriculture and veterinary students from PAU, Ludhiana and GADVASU, Ludhiana.

The memorandum drew attention to the large number of unfilled posts in agriculture and allied departments, the delay in recruitment for Agriculture Master Cadre posts, and the inadequate stipend structure for veterinary interns and postgraduates.

The delegation urged the Hon’ble Governor to intervene and ensure:

1️⃣ Immediate recruitment for vacant agriculture and allied sector posts.

2️⃣ A fair stipend structure for veterinary students.

3️⃣ Reinstatement of agriculture as a compulsory subject with new recruitments for Agriculture Master Cadre.

Citizen journalism is the path to better future!

I strongly encourage people around the world to post news about events as they’re happening, in both text & video.
