If you're just logging on for the day, Nelly Korda opened with a 3-over 74 in France. TV coverage only showed 1 1/2 holes, with no highlights from her previous 16 holes. Korda declined interviews.

In summary, tough start but few details to offer with no ShotLink, quotes or video. Her bid for the career grand slam will likely have to wait. Will be a battle to make the weekend.

Given all that she's done this year, winning two majors, it's almost like the world No. 1 played in the dark.
