The mind, like your body, gets sick and like a house, it’s easier to see cracks on your wall or broken windows but not easy to see electrical faults until the house burns down or you have outages and system failure - often too late!
Mental health conditions operate in ways that aren’t always apparent from the outside. Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental illnesses can be profoundly damaging even when there are no visible markers … and as human beings, we ignore what’s not visible to us yet the impact on one’s overall health is severe and may be even more severe than the injuries we can see 😥
