Please excuse my ignorance but....
Why can't a white, Asian, Hispanic person say n'gga to a black person when black people use the word all the time with each other?
It was only the British who used the term “special relationship”, not the Americans. Once again British hubris trumping reality. We must stop this self-harm of assuming we have a divine right to anything.
We don’t own Britain anymore.
We just live in it… and pay rent to everyone else.
We sold the cars — German, Chinese, Indian owned.
We sold the trains — now run by foreign state companies while ours rot.
We sold the steel, the ports, the airports, the ferries, the energy, the utilities.
We even sold the bloody future — ARM, gone.
We used to make things.
Now we make excuses.
Other nations protect their industries like crown jewels.
Britain sold the family silver, the cutlery, the cabinet it was stored in — then proudly announced how “efficient” it all was.
Energy bills through the roof?
Foreign-owned.
Trains late and expensive?
Foreign-owned.
Ports, water, airports, infrastructure?
Foreign-owned.
And the punchline?
The same politicians who signed it all away now lecture you about patriotism, sacrifice, and belt-tightening… while renting the country back at premium prices.
This wasn’t globalisation.
It was liquidation.
A slow-motion fire sale of a nation built by generations who fought, worked, and bled for something they believed would be passed on — not flogged off to balance a spreadsheet.
No wonder we don’t have pride — we don’t own it.
