Gentle reminder: Lots of people create for the sake of creating. They're not trying to hone a craft, they're just doing a thing that makes them happy. A creation doesn't have to be "good" to justify its existence.
people want to know because people dont like to be tricked or scammed.
and many dont want to support something they find unethical
if you dont have the intention to trick or scam someone.
then you should be fine disclosing that its AI
ya'll gotta STOP reuploading other artists fanarts with no credits nor permission. "but idk who the artist is" then don't repost it. "just comment with the original artist if you know it" not the point, take it down. "but I like it" idc DON'T REPOST FANART THAT IS NOT YOURS
It is insanely important now to support the creators you love. Many of them are getting swung around because of AI, demand of consistency, and utter lack of ability to fight back.
Share their stuff. Support them directly. Be fucking loud and help them be seen.
You are going to see creators be "pressured" to use it to meet demand. Unfortunately, the way productions work relies on consumer demand and too many want things instantly and without fail.
Have patience, but keep supporting the creators you love so they DON'T fall to pressure.
I don't think people understand why I so deeply hate genAI. It's made people stupider, impatient, ignorant, and unlikable in any form.
Creators are put to the whip for not churning things out fast enough. Common sense/fact is debated with misinformation.
It's trash. Period.
This goes for anyone, artists, writers, VAs, editors, etc.
Put a "No AI Use" in your TOS and Bios!!
AI users are using this as an excuse to use your comm works and put it through AI!
This should be common sense..but apperently we are at a time where this bs happens..
YW❣
If you've ever felt self destructive
If you ever felt like a horrible person
If you ever had bad coping mechanisms
If you didn't understand some of the things you did and you regret them very much
You don't deserve darkness.
You aren't hopeless.
You matter.
dont be so rude to yourself
the process of creating by its own requires a lot of time, energy, discipline, effort but above all you need to respect yourself and your art, don’t make it more difficult with a negative mindset
i think people really need to start proudly indulging in fan art and fanfiction, as well as make their own. if a story didn't go exactly the way you wanted, or a character/plotpoint was underdeveloped/unexplored in your eyes, etc. then fan media is your best friend!
