We believe every young person deserves the chance to receive a great education. That’s why, in the year ahead, we’re launching a powerful new legacy initiative to support inner-city youth with access to outstanding learning opportunities. Together, we can change lives.
Union League Liberty Hill is hosting our Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation event this month and we couldn’t be more excited! I see a golf course that embodies the very essence of championship design. Set across 311 acres of rolling Pennsylvania countryside, it’s a layout that invites you to breathe in the landscape while challenging every facet of your game. The wide, inviting fairways encourage you to swing with confidence, yet the elevated greens and artfully placed hazards demand precision and creativity. Water features sparkle throughout the property, not merely for beauty, but as integral elements of strategy. This is golf as it should be, majestic, exacting and endlessly rewarding for those willing to think their way from the first tee to the final green.
My late wife Vivienne’s final wish was for the children of The Blair Atholl Pre-Primary School to always be cared for. Keeping that promise is my greatest honour.

Emphasis on initiating the downswing correctly, by rotating your hips, is in my opinion the key ingredient to playing consistent golf. This is because rotation ensures the hands/arms fall into the correct place resulting in you hitting the ball from the inside. GP

What an honor to be included in @garyplayer early 90th Birthday Celebration benefiting @GVPFoundation. @jacknicklaus & Barbara Nicklaus were part of the festivities; @POTUS called in to honor Gary; Amanda Player organized the incredible evening; Brett Baier MC'd. Special evening!
I always get a bit choked when I see a picture of the four of us together. Gene passed away just a few months before Tiger completed his at The Open in St. Andrews so there isn’t a photo of the five of us. Who will be next?
Our inaugural Ladies' Golf Clinic was a resounding success! Participants enjoyed tips from legends Gary Player and Nancy Lopez and an inspiring Q&A and reception. @NancyLopezWGHo1@mumita_b@garyplayer
One of Gary Player's favorite quotes is "The youth of a nation are the trustees of posterity." Helping young people is the work that Gary Player has devoted his life to.

Some of you might remember the great horse named Cody’s Wish, named for Cody Dorman from Kentucky. His story was truly inspirational and one that deeply resonated with because of my love for horses. If you have the chance, I highly recommend you read up about the story of Cody Dorman.
Last week, one of my horses that I named Double Grand Slam was set to run in a race. Before the race started, I met a young man named Reece from Durban who is battling obstacles in his life, but I was struck by his remarkable positivity and joy, despite these severe obstacles. You just can’t imagine the challenges he faces every single day. I certainly do not have as much courage as him. I invited Reece to come watch Double Grand Slam run and I was hopeful that the horse would win. The horse won comfortably, and Reece was right by my side to witness the special occasion. It was so touching to see his enthusiasm. Reece even joined us on TV at the prize giving to celebrate. It was one of the most touching days of my life and Reece is a massive source of inspiration to me.
I have decided to rename this horse Reece’s Wish to honour the courage and bravery of my friend, Reece. There is something about the outside of a horse that’s good for the inside of a man. GP

Gary Player was overjoyed to reconnect with Steven Kendrick, the nephew of his former caddie, Ernest Nipper, from his first Masters win in 1961. Steven’s impactful work in Augusta is truly inspiring and Gary is thrilled to collaborate with Steven and Elevate Augusta!
Elevate Augusta's motto is "No one gets there alone" which resonates with Gary Player. The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation is proud to support Elevate Augusta at the Foundation’s upcoming event in May.
A huge thank you to @WPTV for covering our donation on Friday! The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation (@garyplayer) presented Place of Hope with a check for $75,000 to help kids in need in South, FL. Great moment to share to start the week! 💪🏼
