HWY 65 Brush Fire Update as of 3:45 p.m.: Grand Valley Power crews have evaluated the affected area and determined that the integrity of electrical equipment was not compromised.

ALERT! Hwy 65 is currently closed. Mesa County Sheriff's Office Fire and Plateau Valley Fire Department are on scene in the area of HWY 65 MM 47 for a weed/ brush fire on the west side of Hwy 65. Power poles have been involved, and Grand Valley Power is also responding.
