Wireless in Wales: Celestion TeleFi made in 1974. This was a means of getting high-quality sound from an analogue television. The audio is then fed to a hi-fi amplifier and loudspeaker (mono). Analogue, 625-line, television sound was FM.
Wireless in Wales: Type "R" triodes and Type "5RV" triode (in the background). The valves date from between 1918 and circa 1924. They are general-purpose triodes with a gain of around 9.
