Anyone 22 or older knows how 18 is still a young kid who barely knows anything about the real world.

It's like a little monkey that has been kicked out of the tribe, looking at the world fresh, exploring and learning things, which is scary to them.

But this poor little monkey is scared, jobs, bills, taxes, rent, schedules, work, study. What do monkeys do when they face the unknown, monkeys look to seek answers, but the answer is learning themself and going through that.

Unfortunately there are old monkeys who know this, every old monkey has gone through this themself. It is what made them into the monkey they are today, dealing with the above and handling it, learning to grow.

When you give a monkey the fix, it eases the pressure of the monkey, oh what a sigh of relief. However, this actually instead stunts the growth of the young monkey.

Instead of becoming an adult independent monkey, they have now become a dependent monkey on the old monkey who gives them a sense of security, further stunting the emotional development and you lose the key components of establishing your identity as a monkey in your 18-25 year old monkey age, which is when the brain develops a lot.

In terms of how this affects the monkey long term, it is the same as a child monkey to a parent monkey. A parent monkey is a role model monkey, a monkey who teaches you right from wrong. However, due to the imbalance of maturity between them, the older monkey feeds the younger monkey information and knowledge of his own because this older monkey knows a lot.

There is no such thing as the correct monkey path, resulting in the young monkey essentially shaping into the monkey that the old monkey wants them to be. Their own personal little monkey kitten.
