Update: @StateDept said today it will allow consular officers to waive in-person interviews for H-1B and other work visas through 2022. The department said it is “committed to facilitating nonimmigrant travel and reducing visa wait times.”

2022 H-1B numerical allocations (H-1B cap). On Nov. 19, we selected previously submitted electronic registrations using a random selection process.

This is one of the many areas where the immigration system needs a technology overhaul. 3 consecutive biometrics is a waste of time and resources for the applicant and the government

This is surreal! Just received another notice from @USCIS for a biometric scheduled on 06/07, this time for B2 bridge application. Did biometric for F1 on 04/09. Fun fact: this will be my third biometric in 1.5 years, the first one was for H4 in 12/2019.
