@An_Angry_Albino@JCHawks_BBN go and play GTA SA or VC, higher than 30fps becomes unplayable, the graphics are nowhere near the level of today’s, but it’s still one of the best gaming experiences today
NEW GTA 6 technical details:
- Runs at 1440p on the base PS5
- Targets a stable 30 FPS with rare frame drops
- 60 FPS considered extremely unlikely on current consoles
- Ray tracing heavily used for lighting and reflections
- NPC and traffic systems are extremely impressive
- Major improvements to character, skin and hair rendering
- PS5 Pro expected to offer improved image quality and higher-quality RT effects

@GhostGamingG@xBlessedBot i’d say the case is that it’s been developed for current gen for so long that it’s most likely a waste of R&D to cut the current gen at this point… and considering this will probably span across 4 console gen’s and break every sales record i don’t think they need to milk it
@An_Angry_Albino@7spartan_@JCHawks_BBN you’re the same person that would complain in 2-3 years that the games been cut down cause of the old gen consoles
@nestorgodd@BoubouSGC anything ABOVE 30fps on the older GTA games (excluding V) is unplayable. really no big deal, it’s a single player game not a competitive shooter
@rize_kamishiroo@BoubouSGC the only GTA game you could play above 40 and get the correct experience is GTA V, but even then there’s significant bugs/glitches at differing FPS limits which people use in the speedrun… don’t get me wrong I think it SHOULD be 60 and obviously will be on the newer hardware
@rize_kamishiroo@BoubouSGC there’s quite a few other visual and physics bugs and issues with playing high fps on those games, optimal is usually 24fps if you want the real experience… yet somehow it’s an issue when we’re playing other GTA games at 30
