Album Review for Dem Goats by Juicy J and Project Pat If we are just going off production alone, this album is a legit classic. For some reason Juicy J finds a way to keep these beats fresh even though we’ve heard the same style in a sense for decades. The sound of this project just makes you make the stank face as you hear the loud piano and the hard bass kicks. Honestly, this album has plenty of great elements as well that provides you with amazing replay value. They can tell stories, they can give you catchy hooks and they can give you some solid features. Legitimately they have any type of artist fitting well on this album. From the lyrical genius of Killer Mike, the west coast legend in Snoop, the upstart in KARRAHBOO, the Indian rapper Hanumankind to Christian rapper Lecrae.. literally everyone fits this MF well. Project Pat’s flow is one of a kind and that shit is dope to hear. Juicy J with his witty bars is still present and honestly overall the album just flows well. We have to acknowledge legends who can make quality music and these two are just that. It’s a great album with some great replay value, and it’s a feel good project to enjoy at any time. GO MEMPHIS!! Favorite Tracks: Out of Order, Blessing in Disguise, Life be Lifing Final Score: 8.3/10
