In Aug 2013, under UPA, Manufacturing PMI was 48.5 — below 50 = actual contraction. GDP growth was just 4.4%.

Today: PMI 52.8 = expansion. 📈

Maybe check what PMI > 50 actually means before declaring a “collapse.”

August was the slowest expansion in 3 years, not a contraction.

So how do you manufacture a “collapse”?
Easy: zoom the Y-axis into 52–60 and make a tiny dip look like a market apocalypse.

Crop the graph enough and apparently every slowdown becomes a “crash.” 🤡
