Ten years today since Health Minister Nicola Roxon’s Second Reading Speech, presenting Plain Packaging legislation to the Australian Parliament. Now legislated in 20 jurisdictions with more on the way.
Happy anniversary to all who made it happen.
30 people attended a party where someone had COVID.
24 people have since tested positive. 6 have tested negative.
Those 6 people were fully vaccinated.
It is a race.
The situation in India right now is nothing short of devastating.
We simply cannot sit by and do nothing. We must step up and provide real, tangible support.
That's why we're sending 1000 ICU ventilators to support Indian doctors, nurses and medical staff.
Feeling just a wee bit ordinary today - achey and tired. On the plus side, go immune system! For fact sheets following vaccination please see: https://t.co/C9jZWec17e

Yes, we should be doing all we can to reduce the spread of #COVID19 but considering the long term issues such as the existing burden of preventable #chronicdisease is equally as important #NCDs
