@HawksFan8898 Frondell has been better than expected but he has 2 points in his last 6 games. It’s hard to compare because they were playing with better players, but Hagel/Debrincat looked better at 20-22 than every young hawks forward right now besides Bedard.

@HawksFan8898 Those are best case scenarios IMO. I think most likely scenarios are frondell is a 65pt very solid top 6 winger. I think Frank most likely is a 50-60pt 2nd line winger or center. I think most likely for Kantserov is 40-50pt middle 6 winger. All 4 hitting best case is unlikely

@HawksFan8898 Okay, I disagree on nazar being a lock top 6. Could be a 3C. I think Moore might work better as a bottom 6 too. Vlasic is a good 3D. Frondell is a top 6 talent but has to be in the right role. Agree on Lardis so that’s a huge hit or nothing.

@HawksFan8898 Frondell/kantserov are in their first season so we’ll leave them out. Rinzel, Moore, Lardis are in their 2nd but also played part of a 3rd. Nazar his 3rd. Kaiser his 4th, vlasic his 5th. Which of them would you say has clearly improved since last season?

@HawksFan8898 But they need to show signs of improvement. Outside of arty they look stagnant or worse compared to last season. The argument with Reichel was he’s young, he’ll improve. Kurashev was up and coming, now he’s in Switzerland. I respect your optimism, but why should I share it?

@HawksFan8898 Sure, and I get you, but the redwings haven’t been relevant since 2013-ish and they aren’t close. The hawks are 4 years behind for now. At 2030 have we waited long enough? How long are you willing to just grind it out hoping it’s going the right way?

@HawksFan8898 I think 5-6 years into this rebuild they should be an 80ish point team. I’m not expecting them to to be a top 3 team in the central. They can’t be a team that gets outplayed 40 mins a night anymore. Even if it’s a “pretty good” team.
