Prequels - which I do love - were objectively pretty mid/bad. Clumsy writing, a few great scenes and of course John Williams’ (DO NOT argue) all time classic score. Huge budget, Lucas at the helm. The Acolyte was trying to do a lot, maybe too much, but IMO pretty interesting from a pure plot POV if you give it a chance. Low budget and it shows. I blame Disney for being (opposite of bold) at the time, more than the writer/director. And I hope Disney has wised up by now
@99_opinions@sw_holocron What is with your obsession with the writer’s sexual orientation? Why on God’s green earth would you give a single forlorn fuck?
@adamcarolla What the fuck does this have to do with anything? Some idiot on some city council did something dumb 5 years ago and so now it’s fine to have rampant corruption at the highest levels of the federal government? Is that what you’re saying @adamcarolla?
The three people most mentioned in the Epstein files are Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Donald Trump.
One of them died in prison, one of them is in prison now, and one of them is president.
But sure, let’s depose Hillary Clinton.
@annie_j04@VernonForGA@SenSchumer “Marxist”?! It’s Trump who is consolidating power like a communist leader - ok maybe more like Stalin (or Putin) than Marx but that’s communism IRL. Having a social safety net is not communism.
@VernonForGA@BranGardener@SenSchumer “Free”? That’s not the proposal I’ve heard about. Issuing free government issued voter ID to all eligible voters, along with notifying voters when they have been removed from the rolls, would be just fine. But that’s not what the Republicans are proposing.
