Perfect! In 2016, when my married supervisor at work got me pregnant, I informed the employer and asked for help, yet the supervisor was nevertheless promoted whereas I was frozen out. I took to Twitter to protest what was happening.
The employer retaliated against me for this AND also sued me for $1.5 million, 10 days after I had given birth, while I was nursing a newborn and recovering from a C-section, claiming that I had violated my "NDA" by disclosing that I was pregnant (that my pregnancy was "confidential" information owned by the employer).
I have had to sue. I am grateful you will be covering this.
P.S. The Trump Campaign is the employer. Thank you, Elon!
@thomasfamily84@joshtpm@jbouie@KevinMKruse Especially for Texas summers! For years the problem in keeping them open here (Austin) has been finding enough life guards. They pay teenagers to get certified, but those low-paying jobs have been hard to fill when there's so much competition for warm bodies here. Budget, RIP.
@jacksonjay@joshtpm@jbouie@KevinMKruse Kids can still walk there, but it's full of kids who can pay to get in, and those folk are the ones driving from the other side of town.
@jacksonjay@joshtpm@jbouie@KevinMKruse Depends where you are. In my hometown, the public pool on the poor side of town, the formerly redlined area and neighboring poor white neighborhoods, was turned into one of those splash-pool type entrance-fee needed attractions. RIP whole generations of cheap swim lessons.
@DruryPatricia @joshtpm Things like that should never be stored together. Nurses and staff rushing from patient to patient are under pressure to grab and go, not triple check labels of, of all things, saline. And a doctor relying on staff to give her the syringe instead of filling it herself.
@tdraicer@joshtpm@TPM You do know the use of "crypto" predates Bitcoin by hundreds of years, right? Or are you just saying it's always all out in the open for them.
@JeniJen1N @joshtpm Meanwhile planning to sue various obscure mathematicians and textbook publishers, and non-obscure typesetters, for copyright impingement.
@joshtpm@TPM Come on, y'all in the comments here, 2015 not 2016. And started maybe with some folk in other countries who supplied his resources, staff, and reassurances going in. Not to mention the only viable plan to move forward to "real" candidate.
Iโm quite used to the cruelty students can face when they apply for a US visa but this one broke me. We offered admission to a stellar, talented & hardworking student. After months of work and hundreds of dollars, an embassy officer saw him for 5 mins & said no. why? โฆ
@ProfDBernstein@joshtpm Florida's new standards are designed to distract and nullify, not to give American children understanding of the America they are growing up in and the tools to become future participants in our culture and our democracy.
@ProfDBernstein@joshtpm These Florida standards are for teaching American history to children in America, children who are growing up in a culture formed and informed by this massive and ongoing part of our history.
@BenjySarlin When you consider that his campaign has been prone to stuff itself with shit-posters instead of, like, real campaign staff, the result is not so surprising.
