We used to import a very critical part of the BrahMos missile, but today, Solar Industries Nagpur just delivered the 100th completely Made-in-India booster. 🇮🇳🚀

Did you know three IIT Bombay students just built their own chip fabrication lab using an old projector and a drone motor?
A very proud moment for Indian tech and a huge congratulations to HackerFab IITB!

How is India bypassing China to attract global mega-factories? By slashing logistics costs with a world-record electric double-stack rail network.
The engineering is insane:
>World record 7.5m+ high reach wires
>12000 HP Make in India WAG 12 pulling the load
>One train carries the cargo of 270 heavy trucks
You're right. It should have been done 12 years ago. No argument there.
But let's be real about where India was in 2014.
We were called one of the world's "Fragile Five," still drowning in old oil bond debt from the last government that we only finished paying off this year.
The money simply wasn't there. First we had to fix the basics. Get the economy back on its feet, build roads, power, and ports, clean up the finances, and handle a hundred urgent needs before we could even dream of something this big.
Building a jet engine takes decades of huge funding, top labs, and rare talent. Back then we were just trying to keep the country running.
So yes, we're late. Very late. The Kaveri engine started way back in the 80s and we lost years we can't get back. But you can't fix the past, you can only fight for the future.
The money is finally there, the defence budget has grown, and giving DRDO a firm deadline is exactly the push we needed.
We're finally on the right track.
Rajnath Singh says out of 25 years, India has lost 20 years to make an aero engine and asks DRDO to make an engine in 5-7 years.
Modi govt wasted 12 years and didn't do anything.
"European sells weapons which are used to attack India, for many many years. We Indians have never done anything to endanger Europe", EAM Jaishankar says when asked about India's stance on Russia Ukraine conflict
India's Reliance has taken advantage of the recently issued General License U to purchase 5 million barrels of Iranian crude, the first purchases of Iranian oil by an Indian buyer since 2019. The deal is worth around $500 million.
Iran would not have sold this oil if it was going to be denied access to the revenue. But that does not mean proceeds will flow back to Iran. My guess based on the historic norm is that the oil was purchased with rupees and payment will be made to UCO Bank. Iran will use the money to purchase humanitarian goods like rice and generic medicines. India will get oil and probably safe transit for other vessels through the Strait.

A single destroyer armed with 16 supersonic BrahMos and Barak 8 LRSAMs carries enough lethality to send an entire aircraft carrier to the bottom. Flying at Mach 3 just 5 meters above the sea, BrahMos stays hidden until it crosses the radar horizon at 27 kilometers, leaving the enemy with only 27 seconds to react. Since a typical naval defense system requires 25 seconds for the sensor to shooter loop, the target is left with a microscopic 2 second window to even attempt an intercept.
In the final phase, BrahMos performs a high-G 360 degree S maneuver with 0.5 meter cep, making it virtually impossible for tracking systems to maintain a lock. With 32 times the kinetic energy of a Tomahawk, launching a full salvo of 16 BrahMos missiles delivers the impact force of over 500 subsonic Tomahawk missiles hitting at once. This overwhelming saturation of speed and agility shatters the enemy command structure before they can even confirm the threat on their screens.

Spoke with my friend President Emmanuel Macron today. We discussed our shared concerns over the evolving situation in West Asia and the need for a return to dialogue and diplomacy. We will continue to engage closely and coordinate efforts towards the early restoration of peace and stability in the region.

Two Russian oil cargoes that had been signaling East Asia as a destination have switched to India, according to ship-tracking data, suggesting New Delhi is becoming more willing to take the crude as the Middle East conflict worsens https://t.co/NrrgpariSS
A fascinating frieze from Shri Rameshwara Devasthana, Nadakalasi (Shivamogga, Karnataka) - women celebrating Holi with pichkaris! Devasthana was consecrated in 1276 CE by Baleyamma Pergade, mandalika ruling Kalise Nadu under Hoysalas.
