@MedCrisis This didn't happen years ago because ( with a few exceptions), XRays were 'culled' and scrapped after 5 years or so of non-use as the silver in the film was valuable and a finite resource.

@MedCrisis I thought about that today when I realised how far back our PACS archive goes. We got it early in 1999. I reported an x-ray today on an adult patient who I had scanned as a prem neonate. The images were all there.

@Poppyjuice Happened to one of our dogs when old. Wise old vet diagnosed geriatric staggers aka old dog vestibular disease over the phone. She was fine after a couple of days and lived happily for another couple of years.
