I still think they'll probably have made some choices which have considered what they player experience is going to be like, otherwise they'd have to be very lucky to end up with a game that's actually fun to play as well as a good simulation.

@DickBison @rdouglasjohnson That's cool! Looks like the inventory lets you carry an unrealistic amount of stuff though. If they only cared about simulating a realistic world and not player experience they'd limit you to what you could realistically carry.

@DickBison @rdouglasjohnson I haven't played Kenshi so I can't comment, but are you really certain they made no decisions at all that prioritised the players' experience over a realistically simulated world? Do wounds tend to kill you without any gamified healing and taking multiple sword blows?

@DickBison @rdouglasjohnson No, that's just an example of doing it (in your opinion) badly. A game that feels like a world that exists outside of player input will still do this kind of thing, but with a different emphasis and arguably more skillfully.
