One safeguarding feature of ss toilets is that the surrounding people can see if a man is approaching the women’s toilets.
The screening wall next to the proposed universal toilets in the level 1 diagram effectively creates a mixed-sex toilet block.

The main concern many women report is harassment—especially while queuing inside enclosed, mixed-sex toilet blocks. A man doesn’t have to do anything illegal to make a woman feel threatened. Presence alone can do it. (4/)
