This is the moment a man threw a petrol bomb at a hotel housing asylum seekers in north London.

Mark Neville, 65, has pleaded guilty to attempted arson after CCTV captured the attack at the Thistle City Barbican hotel in Islington in September 2025.

The fire was put out by security guards and nobody was injured. Police said Neville was "motivated by hate" and the attack was "designed to terrify residents and the local community".

Neville will be sentenced on 8 December.
