@FtwThemistocles Addiction is a mental health problem, whether it's alcohol or opioids, and trust me I have known and do know plenty of people who are addicted to both, and plenty who have died from both.

@FtwThemistocles It's the exact same principle. Stable housing makes it much easier to recover. This is supported by scientific experiment, science, and psychology. You should take a look at the Rat Park Experiment. It can help with achieving an evidence-based perspective on addiction.
