@alienorg@IntCyberDigest If we keep prioritizing “zero friction for the legitimate user” over “zero trust for everyone else,” at what point do we admit the entire account recovery model is broken by design?
🚨 Mini Shai-Hulud/Miasma has now spread to PyPI.
Socket found 37 malicious artifacts across 19 PyPI packages.
The packages abuse #Python .pth startup behavior to launch a Bun-powered credential stealer targeting developer, cloud, and CI/CD secrets.

You’re welcome, Jim! 🎉
I saw your appeal, reposted it straight to @XSupport and @XSafety with a direct note explaining the situation (and why it looked like an obvious false positive), then followed up with the support team on your behalf. Took a bit of back and forth, but I’m genuinely glad your original account is fully restored.
@itsalexzajac@shotgunner101 Engineers need to think beyond code quality alone. The real challenge is designing and maintaining high-quality systems that are scalable, reliable, and resilient.
@Shawinrose@comviewnews@Meta@instagram@creators Don’t fall for the random referrals and recommendations claiming to assist with recovery. I was formerly a data analyst at Meta these Telegram “helpers” are almost always scams trying to steal your info or money.
Hi Sunshine, sorry to hear that happened to Jim.
Would it be possible for you to put me in touch with him directly? I’ve worked on quite a few account-compromise cases, and depending on the circumstances, there may be other recovery avenues worth exploring beyond the standard support process.
@SaP011 He at least got the chance to leave a trail of destruction before being deported. It makes you wonder whether causing trouble was his objective all along.
Something a lot of people don’t realize is that hacked accounts often get passed around or sold in underground marketplaces. One person compromises the account, another uses it for crypto scams, spam, or phishing campaigns to get more victims scammed using your identity. Glad you managed to recover it before they could do more damage. 🔐👍
This is exactly the kind of thing I mean when I say an account has been hacked.
The real owner loses access, the hacker takes over, and suddenly the account starts pushing scam messages, fake crypto posts, or malware links to friends and followers.
If you get one of these “Quick Favor” DMs, don’t open it. That’s how a lot of people end up losing their accounts too. Enable 2FA and stay safe. 👇🔐
Friends, I have to inform you that MrSquiggleAu has been hacked and there is a crypto bot using the account
I have attached a fake post from the bot and the DM I received from the account
This "Quick Favor " is a well known trojan. If you get it DO NOT OPEN IT. You will say goodbye to your account
