Social care reform is needed but increasing National Insurance isn't necessary the answer. It needs looking at how services are funded and maybe having a separate national social care service like the NHS
Whilst I was drilling holes in planters for today's activity of planting flowers our 90 year old gent got up out of his chair and asked what I was doing. He took over and job well done. It proves to us that no activity is out of bounds and we will be adding DIY to our activities

@10DowningStreet@BorisJohnson THANKYOU so much for the wage support. I have closed down my dementia daycentre based in pubs in Sheffield. I've still got a big deficit to make up. The loan option isn't viable for paying back. But you've given hope we will survive
@RishiSunak THANKYOU so much for the wage support. I have closed down my daycentre based in pubs service. I've still got a big deficit to make up. The loan option isn't viable for paying back. But you've given hope we will survive
Our day centres looked like they be closing for good at the beginning of the week with today being our last day. However thanks to the kindness of the families of people who attend offering to cover ongoing costs we can hopefully reopen. Human kindness has humbled us.
@Rony37 trying to ensure our dementia day centre can reopen after the isolation period for over 70s. We close our doors on Friday. I don't get funding. I can't afford the loan on offer. The families we support are being wonderful in their support
@BorisJohnson@RishiSunak I am a day centre for dementia with no funding. I close down on Friday due to over 70s self isolating. I cannot afford to keep going and will close permantly. I don't want a loan I cannot afford I need funding!!! Where is the support
We will be closing on Friday temp, maybe permantly if I can't get support. Am a small business can't afford another loan even if its government backed for coronavirus interruption. Hmrc not being helpful with tax. No support out there at all
@BBC_HaveYourSay as a provider of a day centre for dementia who receives no funding from the local authority. There needs to be a support plan in place for families and small care services like myself before the restrictions on over 70s come in force otherwise we will not reopen
