I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from God , who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
Psalm 121:1-2 MSG
I love as he spoke in the language those useless APC bastards can understand.
People are shouting now, their will be nothing like "May it favour me and my family" kan kan.
EXIT OF A TITAN
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the revered Afenifere leader and elder statesman, at the age of 100.
Baba lived a life defined by courage, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to democracy, justice, and a better Nigeria. His passing is a great loss to his family, the Yoruba nation, and our country.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the entire Afenifere family, and all those who mourn this great patriot. May God grant them the strength to bear this painful loss and grant Baba eternal rest.
His legacy of principled leadership, selfless service, and steadfast commitment to democratic ideals will continue to inspire generations. -PO

TINUBU MUST EXPLAIN LUXURY SUV GIFTS TO APC YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIANS GO HUNGRY — ATIKU.
Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of presiding over a grotesque spectacle of executive excess: the reported distribution of 2026 model luxury SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, to APC youth leaders while millions of Nigerians are crushed by hunger and soaring costs.
Atiku said it was a brazen insult to ask Nigerians to endure hardship while party loyalists receive vehicles worth a fortune. He demanded an immediate public explanation from President Tinubu and the Presidency: who is paying for these SUVs, and why is such lavish political spending taking place while ordinary families struggle to afford food and transport?
In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said:
"The APC National Youth Leader says these vehicles were donated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. Nigerians deserve to know where the money came from to buy and distribute so many 2026 model SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, for political mobilisation.
"The First Lady holds no elected or executive office. She is only a domestic appendage of the office of President. Were these vehicles bought with her personal funds, donations or public resources? Who paid for them? What was the total cost? The Presidency must provide a clear account. Nigerians cannot be expected to accept a fleet of extraordinarily expensive vehicles for party loyalists without knowing who financed them.
"At a time families cannot afford food, transport and other basic necessities, these gifts are a brazen insult to the people. The government has found a way to provide luxury SUVs for APC youth leaders, yet millions of Nigerians are still waiting for meaningful relief from the cost of living crisis. This is not merely a question of misplaced priorities. It is one of the most outlandish displays of executive recklessness in our history.
"First, APC women leaders reportedly received luxury vehicles. Now, according to the National Youth Leader, APC youth leaders are receiving SUVs from the First Lady. The earlier gifts came on the eve of the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State. Now another lavish round of political giving is taking place while Nigerians face hunger, insecurity and hardship.
"While Nigerians continue to ask where the savings from subsidy removal have gone, the Presidency must explain how such costly gifts are being funded. If the vehicles were paid for privately, the source of the funds should be disclosed. If public resources were used, the government must identify who authorised the spending and under what legal authority.
"The scale of these gifts raises grave questions about whether our collective patrimony is being diverted to buy political loyalty. Nigeria cannot be run as a captured state, where wealth and influence serve the powerful while ordinary citizens are left to struggle.
"The same youth leader who made the gifts public is reportedly travelling by private jet. That image of extraordinary privilege stands in jarring contrast to the hardship facing ordinary Nigerians. The Presidency must stop treating questions about wealth and spending as an inconvenience. Nigerians have a right to ask where the money came from.
"Nor is this culture of privilege confined to party officials; it reaches the very household of the President. His own son, Mr Seyi Tinubu, has been pictured, in widely circulated images, wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-02 Sébastien Ogier, a timepiece that sells for close to half a million dollars ($500k), while the same government asks ordinary Nigerians to endure hardship, tighten their belts and wait patiently for relief that never seems to arrive.
Congratulations to Ibrahim Abdulkarim @ziter001 on your appointment as DG, NCC–NDC!
Dear Nigerian youths, this is more than just another DG appointment; this one is for you! It is proof that young people can aspire, rise, and lead.
No more “you are the leaders of tomorrow.” Our tomorrow is here!
Congratulations, Ibrahim. As we advance towards victory in 2027, may this be an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians.
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is pleased to announce the constitution of its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
The National Campaign Council will provide strategic leadership, coordinate campaign activities across the country, and drive the mobilisation of Nigerians behind the party’s vision of a new, just, and prosperous Nigeria.
The Council will work under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson CON, NDC National Leader, Co-Chairman, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi CON, our presidential candidate, Vice Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, NDC
National Chairman and our vice-presidential candidate, His Excellency, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Co Vice-Chairman, Barr. Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, NDC National Secretary, Council Secretary, and the Director-General, Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim to deliver a people-centred and issue-based campaign.
We call on all party members, supporters, and well-meaning Nigerians to remain united and focused as we work together to rescue our country.
A new and working Nigeria is possible.
A “NOBODY” CAN BECOME SOMEBODY WITHOUT KNOWING ANYBODY.
Some people think a Presidential Campaign DG must be a former governor, senator or a big name in the country, that’s a narrow way of thinking.
As Mr. Peter Obi often says, we want a Nigeria where a nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody.
The appointment of @ziter001 represents an opportunity for fresh energy, a new brain, innovative ideas and a different approach.
Let’s give new people the opportunity to prove themselves. That is what change should look like.
By God’s grace, we move forward towards 2027.
Nigeria MUST be OK.
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW.
The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable.
President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence.
Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion.
We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK.
I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice.
We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights.
A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO
