🚨🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Arsenal winning the Premier League after 22 years: an emotional speech 🎤
“This team… this team… honestly, I’m actually feeling emotional for them right now. For years people called them soft, fragile, bottlers… every season it was ‘stay humble’, ‘show some mentality’, ‘build some muscle’, ‘they’re not built for the big moments’. 😭
Well… where’s Mr. Mentality now? Where’s the man telling everyone to stay humble now? Where’s the man mocking them with a bottle. I can’t see them 👀
Because Arsenal have gone and done it. After 22 years. And they didn’t do it in an easy season either, they did it in one of the toughest Premier League campaigns I can remember. The pressure, the intensity, the competition… and they still came out on top.
If right now, you are still doubting this team then you’ve been left behind, and it’s only a matter of time you will stop doubting them.
You have to give credit where it’s due. Mikel Arteta deserves enormous praise because he rebuilt this club step by step and got people believing again.
I can already see Arsenal fans becoming the loudest people on earth for the next 20 years… and honestly? Fair enough. They’ve suffered enough. Congratulations to Arsenal Football Club.” 🏆❤️
The unforgettables!
Kai Havertz justified Arteta starting him over Gyokores..
Liverpool loosing to Aston Villa makes Bournemouth dangerous for Man city cos now they stand a chance to play in UCL if they can win both games and Liverpool loses on Sunday..
Whatever it is,We are a step closer to touching and keeping the premier league after 22yrs!
If Bournemouth can hold Man city tonight, the trophy is ours..
If not,Sunday we celebrate..
But celebrate,we MUST..
COYG!
@DR41fanpage@bennkingg_ Thank you my PFA Player of the year. I knew when you signed for us you would win it for us. Now let's bring the Champions League to the Emirates. You are the world's best.
@afcbournemouth@johnmbithi13 Thank you Bournemouth Thank you Kroupi. Thank you Iraola. You didn't disappoint us Gunners. You made us Champions with less pressure.
Pep Guardiola spent €200m in January on Semenyo & Guehi to try and beat Arsenal to the League
Arteta spent nothing but instead gave more minutes to Max (16) & Skelly (19)
That's the Difference between us🤝
@Arteta ought to make those subs before the goal. The pressure was much and your left back on a card. Saw the goal coming at least 5 mins before scoring and screaming for the subs but unfortunately Arteta couldn't hear me. I hope he learns from this. #COYG
You can call me delusional or even a conspiracy theorist, but do you trust referees in this country? Do you trust the PGMOL? I know I dont, and I'm waiting for the inevitable to happen on Saturday
Just look at this team togetherness and what it means. How well has Jorginho just fitted in and how well the players have taken to him. Absolutely love this
Jorginho is such an underrated player. He has flaws (just like Xhaka) but in the right system he can thrive. Not my preference and really wish we bought Caicedo, but baffling that people would sign rather have no one than sign Jorginho. I think he will be really good short term.
I know it’s only a game and some things are much bigger but imagine all our games went ahead this weekend.
Black armbands, silences observed, national anthem, Royal band playing etc to the millions around the world watching ?
Isn’t that a better send off ?
