#Mycetoma has been added to @WHO list of “#NeglectedTropicalDiseases” in May 2016. However, it is said to be the “most neglected tropical disease” due to severe lack of basic information including specific transmission pathway and incidence in the world.
The final set of breakout sessions take place today at #COR_NTD20, focusing on topics including female genital schistosomiasis, hard-to-reach populations, disability & stigma, TAS for lymphatic filariasis, reassessing the SAFE strategy for trachoma and lessons from IDM diseases.
