Because of a meeting, I couldn't make it before haru's closing time... I was originally feeling super down. I had been thinking all day about coming here to check in, but it ended up being closed... But then I thought about how hard it was to even make this trip to Korea, and since I’m flying back to France tomorrow, I decided to just go there to take some photos and leave a memory. I had absolutely no idea what was about to happen next.
​By this time, it was already midnight at 23:30... While taking pictures, I saw someone's shadow moving around upstairs. I even told my bestie, "Are those young trainees practicing dancing this late?"
​But right after we finished taking photos and were waiting for a car across the street, Lee Donghae, he walked out?! 😭 I recognized him instantly at first glance (because earlier this afternoon, I happened to scroll past a post on Xiaohongshu about a passerby running into him, so I recognized his clothes). I couldn't believe it, but I called out, "Donghae?" He was super cute and waved at us, "Hi~"

​Then the car I called happened to stop right in front of him. He asked, "Is this your taxi?" I was completely frozen at that moment, my mind went totally blank, and I didn't even care about the car. I just blurted out a whole string of words: "I came from a place really far away, I've liked you for so many years, I also watched your concert," and stuff like that. Honestly, I can't even remember clearly what gibberish I rambled out, I was truly dazed 😂 He walked over while swinging his bag, "Thank you guys, bye-bye~" (That very standard, classic Hae-style wave~)

​Then we got into the car... The car happened to drive in the direction he was walking. I rolled down the window, excitedly and shakily waving bye-bye to him, and managed to capture a super blurry video, but he waved back at me, omg!

​Not long after the car started driving, we passed by his house (I'm really not a sasaeng waiting at a spot, okay, haha, I'm just way too familiar with everything about him). Thinking back to how he looked just now, carrying a takeout bag and a backpack, swaying slightly as he walked home from work, he looked so chill and incredibly adorable!

​Sitting in the car, my emotions couldn't calm down for a very long time. Once I snapped out of it, I felt like I was way too foolish 😭 I regret it so, so much; I should have asked for a photo together or an autograph 😭 But my very first instinct back then was being so afraid of disturbing him, so I just got into the car all flustered and panicked... I really have no courage, ughhhh.

​But the Cupid Donghae really makes my day... All of my recent, indescribable, terrible days completely melted away at this very moment into "this isn't even a big deal!". It must be God sending this person, whom I've liked since I was 12 years old, to heal me... In some mysterious way, it must be the power of metaphysics. Now my whole self feels completely right again. Who understands how wonderful this is 😭
