HAIDWARE will showcase the ACETT Ecosystem which is an assistive technology built with the Deaf community to improve communication, environmental awareness and learning through touch.
DESIRE Foundation has launched a national social-impact initiative focused on supporting the adoption of ACETT in schools for the Deaf and inclusive education environments across Nigeria.
The initiative is being developed to partner and collaborate with State and Federal Government institutions, international development agencies, and NGOs working in education, disability inclusion, and child development, with the goal of expanding access to assistive technology within public education systems.
To enable early adoption while preserving long-term sustainability, DESIRE Foundation coordinates a founder-backed social-impact pricing concession, supported by HAIDWARE, for organizations committing to structured pilot deployments.
For clarity of governance, DESIRE Foundation operates as a social-impact initiative within the broader HAIDWARE ecosystem, focused on access and affordability, while technology development, manufacturing, and implementation remain the responsibility of HAIDWARE.
ACETT was designed and developed by IreRobot, in partnership with HAIDWARE, with a specific focus on scalable adoption across African contexts. The solution makes the audible world more accessible to the Deaf community at large, while also enhancing classroom participation, learning independence, and inclusive engagement for Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners.
Through program-based pilot deployments and evidence collection, the initiative aims to inform policy decisions and support responsible scale-up of inclusive education technologies across Nigeria.

This is truly inspiring, sir. As we push for stronger foundational education, it’s also important that we deliberately include Nigerians living with disabilities especially learners with hearing impairments who are often left behind in mainstream classrooms.
Haidware, in partnership with IreRobot, has developed the ACETT assistive device, designed to help students with hearing disabilities access lessons, alerts, and classroom interactions more inclusively. Innovations like this, combined with meaningful educational investment, can ensure no child is excluded from learning.
We’re open to discussing how technology like ACETT can complement this vision and support a more inclusive education system nationwide.
We appreciate the Hon. SA to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Needs for giving us the audience and support to present the ACETT device. Seeing hearing-impaired testers experience a true sense of inclusion filled them with happiness and filled us with joy for creating something that genuinely makes a difference. ACETT was built with the people of concern, not just for them and that’s why we are engaging @ekitistategov to extend this feeling to students in the School of the Deaf by piloting ACETT across the state, promoting real inclusiveness in their learning and social lives.
And we believe that together, we can bring positive change to their community.
