Jameis Winston is a real one! True professional, selfless and an extremely hard worker. This notion that he went rogue is trash. If anything, it shows the love he has for his teammates. He is my brother, one of my favorite teammates. You are better after spending time with Jaboo!
If your players or assistant coaches don’t run the plays you call, you’ve already lost your team.
If you’re comfortable enough to tell the world about it, there’s no turning back.
I asked Cam Jordan his reaction to the final touchdown. "What do you mean? I loved it! I was mad Tyrann took so long to decide whether he wanted to score or not. Then we wouldn't have had the little 'How dare you score on us.' It's Atlanta Saints hate week!"
Cesar Ruiz on Jamaal's late TD: When you’ve got a guy like that who comes in & works his ass off every single day, day in & day out & was the touchdown champion the year before & he doesn’t have one, I just wouldn’t be able to go to sleep at night knowing I didn’t get him one.
The irony of the Jamaal TD debacle is that it only happens if Jameis Winston really has nothing to lose ... and he had nothing to lose because DA engineered a scenario where he had nothing to lose.
That doesn't happen unless the QB is onboard. The QB was Jameis. It happened.
One of the best people/teammates in the entire league! And I never played with the guy, but I know a bunch that have. Love how he kills the reporter with kindness
I heard all kinds of rumors that Dennis Allen pissed off Saints locker room by sending Jameis out only for kneel downs.
Which makes me LOVE Jameis going rogue on that TD even more!!!!
Derek Carr was asked if was concerning that Pete Carmichael’s play call was overruled. He said no. Carr said players want to take care of their guys and sometimes there’s not much that coaches can do about that 🤷🏼♀️
