Haiku Rob

Trying to figure out my life one haiku at a time

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Pike Place was empty
On the night of Christmas Eve
Kind of like my heart

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Merry Christmas Eve
Eat kale and arugula
Be the best you can

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Wow, I have not been
Haikuing for many months
Head's not in the game

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

My boss told me that
I work very, very hard
I'll have to agree

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Having emotions
Is not easy all the time
Is Rocking easy?

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

I'm moving away
To India to study
Buddhism all day

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Everything that I
Invest any time into
Is so uncertain

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

I will change my life
I will go to a college
I will get good grades

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

I will isolate
A Port Angeles motel
Is where I will stay

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

I will leave so soon
I will go on a retreat
For meditation

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Everyone around
Makes me feel so unwanted
Or decides to leave

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Doing sound right now
At a Seattle house show
Can this be my job?

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Koda Sequoia
You are a good band for sure
Good job playing live

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

I love the feeling
Of wanting to stay in bed
With someone all day

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

The Arctic Monkeys
Are a great band but I think
The front man's a douche

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Almost bought a van
But then I didn't because
I'd have no money

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Why does sexism
And sexual harassment
Get unnoticed here

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Having to refrain
From punching my co-workers
Is so fucking hard

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

Just did so much work
To play some shows that were fine
But damn this be tough

[Haiku Rob @HaikuRob]

If I did not care
About writing good music
Maybe I'd have friends
