Path of Exile 2 will officially launch its full 1.0 version on December 11, 2026.

The game has been in Early Access for almost two years, and Grinding Gear Games has now confirmed the final release date.

The 1.0 launch will bring more new content, including the Duelist class and sword gameplay, as Path of Exile 2 moves toward its full free-to-play release.

Vapor World has removed all AI-generated cutscenes from the game following backlash from players.

In a new Patch the dev confirmed that every AI-generated cutscene has been removed and replaced with the original in-game cutscenes the team created before switching to AI.

The developer also made it clear that AI-generated cutscenes will not be used going forward:

“Going forward, no AI-generated cutscenes. Not in any cutscene, as promised.”
