Today is the 34th anniversary of Osamu Tezuka 's death.
Time for an anecdote : in 1965, Stanley Kubrick proposed to Tezuka to be the visual set designer of "2001: A Space Odyssey". Tezuka was flattered but had to decline the offer due to his busy schedule.
